Cinnamon Strange is the revival of a songwriting partnership that dates back to 1989. After a gap of over ten years the partnership reformed, and we have just completed our new album "Songs From The Psyche".

 

Alix takes the vocals and writes the lyrics while Gary writes the music, plays the instruments, twiddles knobs, records and produces.

Alix's unique vocal style and evocative lyrics bring a soothing and sometimes haunting feel into the music, resulting in an album with atmosphere.

 

We're delighted to announce that all four tracks from our album "Songs From The Psyche" which we entered in the 2007 UK Songwriting Contest were placed as semi-finalists.
